* GATEWAY TO COLLEGE PROGRAM A program through Alamo Community College System for sophomores to enter college at the beginning of their junior year. This program pays for students' tuition for three years. They earn an associate degree and high school diploma in two years. * SAPD EXPLORER PROGRAM A program for 14-19 year olds to learn more about police officer, paramedic, firefighter careers. The club meets on Tuesday evenings from 6-9 PM. Call Officer Rick Olivares at (210) 207.5178 for more informaion.
* BRIDGES TO WORK PROGRAM A program that provides job readiness and paid training to teens. Call (210) 206.5271 for informaion.
* YOUTH BUILDERS A program that provides GED classes and 18 hrs. paid work per week in building and construction or computer training to teen ages 16-24.
* MARQUE LEARNING CENTER An accredited program for students to get a high school diploma through self-paced program. They are based out of Houston. Call (713) 453-0310 for information.
